Good morning Bailey families! We appreciate those who have already filled out the Ram Ready form. Once our call out system rolls over we will send more information about Ram Ready day, but just to give you a better picture, Ram Ready day is a new a event we feel is important to help your child make this big transition. It is designed for incoming 7th grade students only to provide them the time to walk the building, learn traditions, routines (like lunch schedules) and build new friendships before we start. Drop off will be 9:30 - 10:00am. We will release at 1:00pm from the east side of the building (new entrance). Again once our call out systems changes for the new year, we will send more information as it gets closer. Lunch will be provided. The link is below for anyone who might have missed it ... One more welcome, but a familiar face to some! Bailey fam, welcome back Mrs. Allie Smith! Check out her bio below 👇🏻
I was born and raised in Arlington and am a proud Arlington ISD graduate, having attended Butler Elementary, Shackelford Junior High, and Lamar High School. I have always loved Arlington ISD, and I am thrilled to be returning to Bailey Junior High as an 8th grade math teacher!
My husband, Jordan, and I have two energetic daughters, Scarlett and Georgia, who bring so much joy to our lives and keep us on our toes. I recently took some time away from teaching to stay home with them while our family lived in Charleston, South Carolina. Returning to Arlington—and especially to Bailey—truly feels like coming home.
Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I even found math homework therapeutic! I love helping students discover that math is "figureoutable" and watching them grow into confident, critical thinkers and problem-solvers.
I am so excited to be back at Bailey and can't wait for a fantastic school year! ... See MoreSee Less
Bailey family, please help us welcome our new coach and math teacher Ms. Sierra Beal! Read her bio below! Welcome to Bailey.
My name is Sierra Beal and I will be teaching/coaching at Bailey Junior High. I was a former Track & Field Collegiate Athlete at Prairie View A&M University where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree. This is my second year as a Teacher/Coach. In my free time I love to shop, travel, and workout. I’m excited to be a Bailey Ram! ... See MoreSee Less
Bailey family, help me welcome our new Support Interventionist Mrs. Erika Lara. Read a little more about Mrs. Lara, below.
I'm a proud Arlington ISD product, having attended Roark Elementary, Carter Junior High, and Sam Houston High School before earning my bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and my Master of Reading Education with Reading Specialist certification from Texas Woman's University. This year marks my 14th year in education, and I've had the privilege of serving as a bilingual teacher, interventionist, and most recently, instructional coach.
Outside of school, I love traveling, concerts, and musicals, especially Hamilton, and I'm always up for anything Harry Potter! When I'm not out adventuring, I'm spending time with my husband, Jacob (a proud Bailey graduate!), our two black cats, Tomas and Stormy, who definitely think they run the house, or my big family, where every weekend feels like a family reunion.
I'm excited to join the Bailey team as the Support Interventionist and can't wait for an amazing school year! ... See MoreSee Less
