Highlanders,

I am proud to announce that Hill Elementary earned a "B" rating once again this year. While earning a strong rating is an accomplishment, maintaining that level of success year after year requires unwavering dedication, continuous improvement, and a shared commitment to excellence. This rating reflects the collective efforts of our students, staff, and families who work together every day to support student achievement.
Behind every accountability score are teachers who plan purposeful lessons, students who persevere through challenges, and families who reinforce the importance of learning at home. This accomplishment belongs to our entire Highlander community.
Over the past year, our campus remained focused on strategies that support both academic growth and student success:
*Daily tutoring opportunities and flexible intervention/enrichment groups to provide targeted support and challenge for students at all levels.
*Purposeful student goal setting and goal-setting conferences that helped students take ownership of their learning and growth.
*Celebrations of student achievement and overall growth, recognizing progress as well as performance.
*Intentional differentiated instruction practices designed to meet the unique needs of every learner.

While we are proud of this achievement, we are equally committed to continuing our growth.

This year, our focus will include:

*Priority 1: Strengthening Tier 1 Instruction

We are implementing High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) in both Reading and Mathematics through Bluebonnet Learning and HMH. These resources will provide rigorous, engaging, and standards-aligned instruction that supports success for all students.

*Priority 2: Closing the Gaps for Every Learner

We will maintain a strong focus on Domain 3: Closing the Gaps, ensuring that every student continues to grow and that targeted supports are in place to help all learners reach their full potential.

At Hill Elementary, we believe that excellence is not a destination but a journey. We will continue building on our strengths while seeking new opportunities to grow, improve, and serve our students at the highest level.

Good evening Highlanders!
We had another great day of learning today at Hill!!

If you will, please help us ensure a swift and effective arrival and dismissal for all of our Scholars by following the city guidance of No parking signs. We have posted where parking can and cannot take place at or near our campus. I hope this helps.
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. 🐾🐾🐾
