A story told with Adobe ExpressHappy New Year sweet families!
TOMORROW IS THE DAY! Doors open at 7:50 and we are SO ready for your kiddos to be back at school! As I am sure you all are too!
We are going to have a phenomenal 2nd semester. I am not one to make new year's resolutions but something has been circling in my head lately and it is this term or expression:
Micro Joy Moments
I think so often we expect to find joy in really big great seasons of our life or when things are calm and relaxed and peaceful. As we get ready to go back to rushed mornings, and extra-curricular events after school and less family time due to the rush of the day to day M-F grind, let's remember that we can find a micro joy moment in our everyday, mundane moments. Some of those micro joy moments could be:
-Lighting a candle when you wake up and serve your kid breakfast to make the morning a pinch less chaotic and a bit magical
-Take notes with a pen that feels good in your hand
-Do your laundry while music plays
-Go on a flashlight walk with your kids or yourself after dinner or a long work day
-Wear the outfit that makes you feel good on a random Tuesday because why not
-Sit in your car for 5 minutes before going inside the house listening to your favorite song or sitting in complete silence
What is your idea of micro joy in 2026? Would love to hear it!
See your sweet kiddos tomorrow morning!
Love,
Mrs. Longoria ... See MoreSee Less
