PTA will be selling concessions during their time outside too, just FYI! 4-22 to 4-26: Admin Assistant Week! See below our clerk, Mrs. Durr and our secretary, Mrs. Lopez's favorite things! 4-22 to 4-26: Volunteer Appreciation Week! 4-23: 5/6 Reading STAAR. Campus will be closed to visitors 4-24: 3/4 Reading STAAR. Campus will be closed to visitors 4-26: Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast in the library! Please come by between 7:50-8:30 if you volunteer in ANY way at Hill and grab breakfast and fellowship with other volunteers. Location: Hill Library 4-26: Autism Acceptance Walk from 5:00-7:00 at Hill on the track!
Things to Note: -Ms. Stevenson is cancelling the rest of her Common Sense Parenting classes for the next 5 weeks. No one showed up last week and she realized that a six weeks session in the fall and a six weeks session in the spring vs doing 2 sessions in the spring next year will be better for our families! -Ms. Stevenson is wanting volunteers for career day! Career Day is May 9th and it is from 1:30-3:30. Just a reminder we will be having a school wide Total Eclipse watch party from 1:15-1:45 with our kiddos! We will have solar snacks and live music and audio from DJ Knight. We HIGHLY encourage you to keep your kiddo at school so they can enjoy this epic day!
If you want to watch the eclipse with your kiddo, you must check in the front office by 1:00. We will be closing the office from 1:15-1:45 so all staff can come outside and view the eclipse and help monitor the kiddos and their glasses.
ALSO-
STAAR is Tuesday and Wednesday of this week for our 3-6 graders. PLEASE bring them to school on time, filled with peace, love, and self worth. We want them to believe they are already the BEST! It will also be a closed campus those two days so no visitors during the day.
