So proud of our Texans for placing silver in the Battle of the Books competition today! 🥈📚 Our incredible 4th and 5th grade team worked so hard to prepare for this competition.
Battle of the Books is a reading competition where students read a selected list of books and then compete by answering detailed questions about the stories, characters, and plots. It’s a fun way to encourage a love of reading while challenging students to think deeply about what they read.
Way to go, readers! Thank you Mrs. Schmidt for leading these groups! Your hard work, teamwork, and love for books paid off. 📖✨ ... See MoreSee Less

Mary Moore brings the community to our students in so many ways through out the year. Today was our annual career day for the youngest Texans and it was full of good information, big trucks, and cool tools!
Not only was the Arlington community here to help our learners dream big of their own futures, but some of our guests included members of Mary Moore extended family! Ms. Swindle, our expert on all things Animal Services, just so happens to be the mom of 3 awesome Texans two students and our STEM lab manager, Mrs. Ogg! In addition to that, the parents of two super Texans, Mr. And Mrs. Kaye, showed us the awesome tools that plumbers get to use! Such a special treat to see how close these everyday heroes and helpers are to our school community. We know we have so many Moore family that work cool jobs with cool toys and are always excited to partner with you to share it with our students, so if you have something to share make sure we know!!
Thank you Mrs. Hogan and all our community helpers who made today so special! Can’t wait to see these little Texans find their way in the world thanks to all the grown ups who help them create their dreams through experiences like these.
