My name is Allie Mahmood and I am a DFW native and a 2020 graduate from the University of
North Texas. I was previously the assistant band director at Sam Houston High School in
Arlington and was most recently the assistant band director at Travis Middle School in Irving,
before coming to Arlington High School. I started my teaching career in the 2020-2021 school
year, and started teaching at Arlington in the 2023-2024 school year. In my free time I am a
freelance flute player and am the operations manager / social media coordinator for a non profit
performing arts organization in Dallas.
