9-12 Spanish teacher

Welcome to my Spanish class!

My name is José Sánchez and I have been teaching Spanish at AHS since 2005.   I currently teach PAP-Spanish III, PAP-Spanish III, NS and IB Spanish SL. I graduated with a B.A in Spanish from Texas A&M Commerce and a minor in ESL.  I have a Master’s degree from UTA in Educational Administration.  I love teaching Spanish because I get the opportunity to learn language and culture with renewed enthusiasm through student’s eyes.

I am married, and I have two girls and one boy.  My family keeps me energized and motivated to continue doing what I love (teaching Spanish).  They are the force behind everything I do.  My Interests are, education, reading, soccer, hiking, fishing, the outdoors in general, and traveling.

I have a high interest in student achievement and I will do everything I can to help you (the student) succeed in my Spanish class.
