Natasha Newsome

I am so excited to be back in Colt Country as an Assistant Principal. Arlington High has the best students, staff, and community and I look forward to partnering with each of you.

I attended UT Arlington and have a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. I later attended Lamar University for my M. Ed. in Educational Leadership.

Prior to my role as Assistant Principal at AHS, I was Associate Principal at Midlothian High School since 2020. I was the head girls basketball coach and business teacher at Everman High School from 2018 to 2020. From 2010 to 2018 I was the head girls basketball coach and business teacher at THE Arlington High School. I spent a year in Saginaw ISD and Fort Worth ISD as well.

I have a great love for children, and love helping them develop into great people. I am looking forward to a great year! Kick em’ Colts!
