11^th and 12^th grade IB History and IB Film

I have been teaching in Texas public schools since 1994, and have had the privilege to teach in the IB program at AHS since 2007. I currently teach both the Junior and Senior years of IB History, as well as the 2-year IB Film course. The focus year one for History is the Americas in the 20^th century, comparing the US to Canada and Latin America. In the second year, we focus on modern world history, including both World Wars, Apartheid in South Africa, and the rise and rule of single party states. In Film, about half the course is spent learning Film history and theory, while the other half focuses on production. I am married with two teenage boys, and am honored to be in Colt Country.
