HOWDY! My name is Vanessa Ochoa and I began my career as a bilingual teacher through Teach For America in Dallas ISD, Fall 2017. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2016. In the Spring of 2019, I completed my Master’s in Education with a focus in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University. I am from Arlington, TX and a proud product of Arlington ISD.

As a testing facilitator, I understand the importance of creating a comfortable and stress-free environment for students during testing. I will strive to ensure that every student has the support and resources they need to succeed. I am eager to work with the talented faculty and staff at Arlington High School to continue to uphold its reputation for academic excellence and help our students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

Outside of my work life, I enjoy spending time with family/friends.

My favorite activities include swimming and trying new foods.

I have two boy kittens named Pancake and Waffles that keep me busy!
