Campus Role: Teacher
Campus Team: Agricultural Science
My first taste of agriculture began in high school FFA, which fueled my passion for animals. It opened doors for me to start working in veterinary clinics during high school, where I gained hands-on experience in animal care and behavior. Throughout college, I continued working in vet clinics while studying animal science and wildlife management. I then expanded my knowledge in animal behavior, leading to training K9s for police departments across the state!
Those experiences shaped not only my career path but also my desire to teach! Agriculture education gives me the opportunity to combine my love for animals with my passion for mentoring students. I want my classroom to be a place where students feel confident exploring new skills, asking questions, and discovering paths they may not have considered before. Whether they choose to pursue medicine, animal sciences or any other field in agriculture, my goal is to give them the foundation and encouragement they need to succeed, just as FFA and my early mentors inspired me.
