Principal Update January 2023
Hi Colts,
Happy New Year! I hope your break was full of pajamas and slothlike time on the couch. I got to spend some time with my parents who visited us from Iowa. Then, they headed back north just in time for a blizzard. My family enjoyed lots of time together catching up on our Netflix viewing. I think the Glass Onion is a new favorite.
The kids came back today full of energy! We were all so happy to see your kids and excited for what the 2nd semester will bring. I'm optimistic that it only gets better from here.

We spent a lot of time yesterday as a faculty looking at the highs and lows of the past year and using those moments to remember our purpose and set new goals. When you have a purpose, you have happiness. I hope you all were able to reflect on your year as well and remember your purpose. We've really come a long way, my friends.
My word this year is UNITE. I have seen such growth in all of us toward unity again. I hope we can continue to listen to one another and find ways to connect.
If you have a word for 2023, I'd love for you to share it with me. Just reply directly to this email with your word for the year. 🙂
I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you all have a great rest of the week!
Sincerely,
Stacie Humbles, Principal
Arlington High School
