Our Colts Players made history today with our most successful showing in years! The following players qualified for the Region 1 Championship Tournament in McKinney, Texas on April 11th and 12th:
Daniel G. - Boys Singles District Champion (First AHS Boys Singles Champ since 1979!)
Derek G. - Boys Singles Runner-Up (Beat Martin in playback match for 2nd Place)
Olivia M. & Rafael "Jerry" R. - Mixed Doubles Runner-Up (First AHS Mixed Doubles team to qualify for regionals in 10 years)
I appreciate all of the teachers and staff that look after and support our Colt Tennis Players. I also appreciate your understanding our busy schedule in order for our players to make up assignments and other obligations!
We will continue to grind out in practice to improve so we can continue our great run at Regionals!
