This weekend, we had 5 students compete at State VASE (Visual Art Scholastic Event) in San Marcos. Three students received medals and one also received the PRESTIGIOUS GOLD SEAL, which goes to the top 1% in the entire state of Texas. Also, Mariam O. received an on-the-spot $400 scholarship where students had to create a piece within a specific amount of time following a prompt. Think of it as sight reading for Music UIL.
