TEA Accountability Ratings A Message from Mrs. Humbles

Hi Colts,

TEA has released the state's accountability ratings for the 24-25 school year.

The good news is that Arlington High School will receive a 'B' rating for the 2nd year in a row!

However, AISD had to participate in the STAAR rescore process for our tests to be scored appropriately, and while we have the scores and the data, it will take another month for our letter grade to be corrected.

Our score right now is a 79 - which is a 'C'. However, once the appeal is finalized in September, our score will reflect the correct score of 80 - which is a 'B'.

We are proud of our letter grade, but we are more proud of the great work we do at Arlington High School:

  • A focus on the entire child - from the Arts to Athletics to Career and Tech
  • An amazing place to work, with staff retention rates higher than most schools and districts in North Texas
  • Community involvement as the flagship school of Arlington

Thank you all for your continued support and for choosing Arlington High School for your child. I will always believe this is the very best place for our kids, and I am grateful to be a part of the Arlington community.

Sincerely,

Stacie Humbles, Principal

Arlington High School

First here. Best here.
