Hi Colts!

Today, we shared a lesson with our students about using the crosswalk. I know thousands of our students are able to follow the rules of the road with perfect precision, but alas, tens of them may still need reminders from all of us on how to be safe in the streets.

Today's lesson "Cross Cross Cross! The Crosswalk!"(opens in new tab) is brought to you by Pinkfong songs for kids. Our students viewed this video in class today in order to better understand how to cross the street. I hope you enjoy it as well.

While it is a cute and fun children's video, we also reminded students that jaywalking is an offense that can result in a ticket, and our SROs are going to start issuing tickets to 1-2 students each day. Please encourage your student to not be selected for a jaywalking ticket by simply using the crosswalk.
