Hi Colts,

Wow, what an amazing day! I hope your students came home with great stories about the day. We had a whole lot of new procedures and tons of adjustments to make with construction, but your kids were AWESOME.

I saw so many smiles today from students, staff, and parents. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the joy that your students brought to all of us. What a cool group of kids we have this year.

My admin team worked well into the evening debriefing on the day and making adjustments. We'll do this as the week goes on as we listen to our kids' feedback. They are great about telling us how we can improve and we love to hear it. I appreciate all of the encouragement you have given us on this first day. We will continue to work hard for you and your kids!
