Dear Parents and Guardians,

I want to thank everyone who participated in the 23-24 Arlington ISD Parent Engagement and Satisfaction Survey! Your feedback is essential and will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our school. We achieved a response rate of 5.3%, and it's crucial to hear from more of you next year for a thorough understanding of your needs and concerns. Areas of Recognition Arlington HS The survey comments were clear regarding the primary strengths of the school. The most common positive responses were:

• Appreciation of the useful communication between parents, teachers, administrators, and principals that is transparent and consistent. Consistent communication in regard to upcoming events and important decisions that affect the students and families.

• Praise of teachers for their effective teaching methods and commitment to student success and learner engagement.

• Value of the emphasis on safety and security within our school community in order to help students, staff, and families feel safe and protected.

Areas of Focus Arlington HS I also want to assure you that I have thoroughly reviewed the survey data. Based on your feedback, I have identified the following areas to consider for the upcoming school year:

• Concerns over campus logistics such as parking, overcrowded hallways, and frequent attendance/tardy updates • Need to increase student access to mental health resources

• More access to enrichment opportunities such as field trips, clubs, sports, Fine Arts, cultural events I hope that you find this news encouraging.
