Bronco Families,

We hope your first week of summer has been amazing! I want to take a moment to share a few important updates and resources to help you prepare for the summer and the upcoming school year.

Leadership Update
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional Mrs. McMaier as she begins a new chapter. Her dedication, leadership, and care for our students and staff have made a lasting impact on our campus. She will be deeply missed, and we wish her all the best in this exciting new journey. She asked us to pass along these words:

After four wonderful years at Butler, I wanted to share that I will be stepping away from my role as assistant principal to stay home with my newborn twins. While I am excited for this new chapter, it is difficult to say goodbye to a community that has meant so much to me. It has been a privilege to support the students, families, and staff of Butler. Watching our students learn, grow and excel has been one of the most rewarding parts of my time in education! Thank you for your partnership, support, and trust over the years. Butler is a truly special place, and I will always be grateful to have been part of this community💙♥️

Bronco Families,

We avoided the weather for Picnics and 6th Cluster, but will not be able to avoid it at dismissal, so we will have a lightning dismissal today.

During lightning, we will not walk students out to cars. Parents will need to park along a driveway curb or street curb and walk up to pick up their Bronco. Please DO NOT block the driveway.

Reminder, and as normal, older siblings will go to the youngest sibling for dismissal.

Pre-K & Kinder: Normal Dismissal procedures

1st & 2nd: Front Door/Awning

3rd & 5th: 5th Grade Door (door just South of Front Door)

4th & 6th: 6th Grade Door (near the Gym)

Please also note that to ensure that staff can focus on a safe dismissal for ALL, we will not dismiss students from the office after 3:00.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we ensure all Broncos and staff are safely dismissed!
