UPDATE: Our staff put our campus into a lockdown at 3:37 p.m., shortly after dismissal. The lockdown was prompted after two adults in the pick-up line got into an argument, and one said the other had a weapon. Upon further investigation, Arlington Police determined there was never a weapon. The item in question was a cellphone. I hope this information relieves any worry you may have felt during today’s lockdown.
The lockdown at Swift has been lifted, and dismissal will resume as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience. ... See MoreSee Less
