Campus News

It was great to see many of our families at our Open House before the spring break. Welcome back from the break!

During Black History Month in February, our staff paid tribute to the achievements of African Americans by studying and researching the critical role they played and continue to play in US history. Our students were proud to display and present what they learned at our Black History ...Celebration!

We are thankful for our teachers who went above and beyond to plan great lessons and to all the staff who organized a wonderful celebration, decorated our hallways, and came in to help.

Congratulations to our perfect attendance winners for the last six weeks, Mia Paola (Kinder), Aubrey (1st), Camila (3rd), Valeria (4th), and Santiago (6th). To the parents and guardians, thank you, too, for all you do to support your child's education.

As always, we appreciate the ...Arlington Sunrise Rotary for helping us to reward our perfect attendance winners. We are thankful for their generosity.

We hope everyone is home staying safe from the bad weather.

It's only mid February and it's been a very busy month despite the days we were out due to the bad weather!

Our students, staff, families, and community partners are awesome! Go Tigers!

- 100th Day of School

Please give a shout-out or two to our students and staff!

Yesterday, we had a food bag donation from the local chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha. They will provide this support weekly
for the rest of this school year. Their mission statement includes being of "Service to All Mankind" and we are thankful that they chose to also be of service Thornton families.
