❄️ Weather Update | Arlington ISD ❄️
Due to anticipated weather conditions, Arlington ISD has canceled all afterschool activities for Friday, Jan. 23. All weekend activities have also been canceled or rescheduled.
⏩ Elementary afterschool childcare will operate today, with the following adjustments:
⏩Boys & Girls Club and Tarrant County Kids (TCK) will close at 5:00 p.m.
⏩YMCA afterschool care will operate normal hours
We will continue monitoring conditions throughout the weekend and will communicate any changes to Monday’s schedule by Sunday afternoon. A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our 2nd annual School Trunk or Treat! We had an amazing turnout filled with creative costumes, spooky decorations, and plenty of sweet treats. 🍬
Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers, community sponsors, families, and staff who decorated trunks, donated candy, and helped make the night a huge success. Your energy and creativity brought the Halloween spirit to life!

The Pre-K and Kinder STEMtacular is Tuseday, Oct. 14, 6-8 p.m. This superhero-themed event is bigger than ever, thanks to a partnership with the Fort Worth Museum of Science, which is bringing its Family STEAM Festival to Arlington. The fun includes hands-on activities, live science demonstrations, and interactive experiences for children and parents alike. Attendees who provide feedback will even receive free tickets to the museum.
The STEMtacular is exactly what the name says. It’s STEMtacular! And it’s free! So, get your little learners – and your whole family – dress up as superheroes and come out for a STEMtacular time with family.
