English I Level Lead, Head Cheerleading Coach

I love having the opportunity to work at THE Arlington High School as a teacher and coach! I chose the teaching profession at 5 years old and never changed my mind. I graduated from Bowie High School, and I am a two-time alumna of Stephen F. Austin State University (B.A. & M.Ed.). I began my teaching career in Dayton, TX before I came to AHS in 2018. I teach both on-level and advanced English I, and I serve as the English I level lead, model teacher, senior activities assistant, and the Head Cheerleading coach here at AHS.  I am passionate about my job and the students I get to serve on a daily basis, I’m so grateful to be in Colt Country as part of the COLTS Family! Kick ‘em!
