Final Exam Exemptions Absences

For the 2022 – 2023 school year, an adjustment to the current semester exam exemptions guidelines has been made to accommodate 11th or 12th grade students the district will be coding, retroactively and this point forward, students who are absent due to a documented COVID-19 diagnosis or close contact self-isolation. Students in these grade levels who wish to be exempt from final exams must provide the below documentation to the campus attendance clerk:

Students diagnosed with COVID-19 must provide one of the below documentations:

A doctor’s note attesting to a COVID-19 diagnosis, or
A curated COVID-19, or
2022-2023 COVID-19 Final Exam Exemption Affidavit, if a home test was administered

Students quarantining due to COVID-19 exposure:

Parents must complete the 2022-2023 COVID-19 Final Exam Exemption Affidavit.

Document deadlines

The below deadlines for returning the required documents have been created to support families in meeting these documentation requirements:

Fall 2021 Semester: 11:00 am, Friday, December 10^th

Spring 2022 Semester: 11:00 am, Friday, May 20^th
