At Arlington ISD, the process for approving an application for operating a food truck, game truck, obstacle course, or bringing animals to Arlington ISD premises typically involves several key steps. This is to ensure that Arlington ISD complies with local regulations, safety standards, and community expectations.
Application Process
- Complete the Application and Attach Supporting Documents: Fill out the form linked below and attach the required documents such as permits, site plans, insurance certificates, and any other relevant documentation indicated below.
- Operators must submit the application along with all required documentation at least 30 days before the event date.
- If Arlington ISD will pay you directly for your goods/services or you will be part of a fundraiser or commission sales, you must first register with the Arlington ISD Purchasing Department.

- Timeline: Start the application process well in advance, at least 30 days before the event date. Some applications can take several days/weeks to be processed.
- Background Checks: Arlington ISD may perform background checks as necessary or required prior to the event and on-site at the time of the event (Raptor System).
- Community Impact: Be mindful of the event’s impact on the local community, including noise, traffic, security, safety, and environmental effects.
- Safety and Security: Ensure robust plans are in place to address potential safety and security concerns.
