🎻✨ Celebrating Arts in Education Week! ✨🎻
This week, we're proud to recognize Mr. Boyd, who introduces our 5th grade students to the exciting world of orchestra.

For many students, orchestra is their first experience playing a string instrument. Learning an instrument requires dedication, practice, and perseverance, and teaching beginners requires even more patience and skill. Mr. Boyd guides students through every step of the journey, from learning the basics to building the confidence needed to perform.

Through his encouragement and expertise, students develop not only musical skills but also discipline, responsibility, and resilience. The growth our young musicians make throughout the year is a reflection of Mr. Boyd's commitment to helping every student succeed.

🎻✨ Celebrating Arts in Education Week! ✨🎻
This week, we are excited to recognize Ms. Walter-Howard, whose dedication and passion help our 6th grade students discover the joy of music through orchestra.

Each day, Ms. Walter-Howard travels to multiple schools to provide students with the opportunity to learn and grow as musicians. Learning to play an instrument takes patience, discipline, and perseverance, but it also builds confidence, creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Through her instruction and encouragement, our students develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom while experiencing the pride that comes from performing together as an ensemble. Throughout the year, our orchestra shares their talents at several special events, including our beloved Winter Holiday Sing-a-Long, bringing music and joy to our school community.

We are grateful for the time, energy, and enthusiasm Ms. Walter-Howard pours into our students every day. Thank you for inspiring the next generation of musicians and helping our students find their rhythm, confidence, and love for the arts! 🎶💙

🎶✨ Celebrating Arts in Education Week! ✨🎶
This week, we're proud to recognize Mrs. Yandell, our incredible music teacher, who inspires a love of music in our Kindergarten through 6th grade students every day.

Mrs. Yandell thoughtfully plans and leads many of our school's special celebrations, including Veterans Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and so many other meaningful programs. Through music, she helps our students connect with history, culture, and community in ways that leave a lasting impact.

Her creativity shines through in every performance, from teaching songs and coordinating productions to creating choreography that incorporates flags and even sign language. These experiences build confidence, foster teamwork, and create unforgettable memories for our students.
We see the positive impact Mrs. Yandell has on our children every day, and we are so grateful for her passion, dedication, and commitment to the arts.

This week, we celebrate the incredible impact the arts have on learning, creativity, and student success. We are fortunate to have Mr. Randall, our amazing art teacher, inspiring students from Kindergarten through 6th grade every day.

Through hands-on art experiences, creative exploration, and innovative digital art programs, Mr. Randall helps students discover their talents and express themselves in meaningful ways. His dedication to expanding opportunities for our students has even earned several grants that have brought exciting new artistic experiences into our classrooms.
