Have you ever noticed letters or symbols in the online gradebook and wondered what they mean?
Teachers sometimes use special gradebook codes as placeholders for assignments or to provide additional information about a student's grade.
These codes help communicate situations such as:
✅ An assignment is missing and still needs to be completed�✅ A student was absent when the assignment was given�✅ Work has been exempted or is not being counted toward the grade�✅ The assignment is still being graded or entered
