Fitzgerald was recently the recipient of a $6600 grant from the Arlington ISD Education Foundation. The grant was written by Mrs. Escobar and Mrs. Gibson and will benefit the new robotics team and our whole campus. New sets of Spike Prime robotics kits and Spheros will be purchased with the funds. This will enable teachers to provide more coding and robotics experiences to students!
The AISD Education Foundation is sponsoring a contest for grant winners and the school with the most 'likes' will win a special treat for their entire school staff at the upcoming Dream Makers Banquet.

Referrals for AISD’s Gifted and Talented Services are being accepted and may be received from any teacher, parent, or member of the community at-large. GT referral forms initiate the process and can be obtained from your student’s teacher or the GT Lead Teacher at the elementary campus. As part of GT identification practices, AISD routinely uses universal screeners in kindergarten, second and fourth grades.
Please contact Amber Escobar if you have any questions or would like a copy of the parent referral form. ... See MoreSee Less
