School supplies lists for the 2026–27 school year are now available. Families can view and download the required supplies to prepare for back‑to‑school. Please check your campus’s list to ensure your student has everything they need for a great start to the year.

Summer schedules are the best — staying up a little later, sleeping in, and enjoying those relaxed mornings! ☀️😴 But the first day of school is coming soon, and it’s time to start getting back into a school-year routine.
🐦 Set your family up for success by starting now!
Begin adjusting bedtime and wake-up times a little earlier each day. Sometimes it takes several days for our bodies to adjust to a new schedule, so starting the transition now can help make that first early morning rise a little smoother.

🐦 Set Up for Success: Independence Day 🐦
Our Firebirds are growing up fast and earning their wings! ❤️💙 As our students build confidence and independence, we are excited to celebrate Independence Day on the second day of school — Thursday, August 13.
On this day, students will practice an important step toward independence by:
✨ Walking themselves to class
✨ Entering the building without parent/guardian assistance.
Don’t worry — our Firebirds will have plenty of support! 🐦 Our campus staff and student leaders will be available throughout the morning to greet students, provide directions, and help anyone who needs assistance.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to spread their wings, gain confidence, and start building the independence they need to soar! 🔥

🎒 Set Up for Success: First Day 🎒
The first day of school is an exciting milestone for our Firebirds, and we want to make the morning arrival experience welcoming, smooth, and successful for all of our students and families! ❤️💙🐦
This year, Arlington ISD will have a standardized first-day welcome experience at all elementary schools to help create a consistent and welcoming start for every student and family across the district.
On the first day of school from 7:45–8:10 a.m., parents and guardians may enter the building without a Raptor visitor badge or Fast Pass.
Families are encouraged to:
✨ Walk directly with your child to their assigned classroom
✨ Take a brief moment to help your child transition
✨ Say goodbye and help your child start a successful day of learning
Our campus team will be ready to greet families, provide directions, answer questions, and help everyone feel welcomed on this special day! 🔥
A few reminders:
📌 This special first-day arrival procedure is only available on the first day of school.
📌 Visitors should remain in classroom hallways and designated student areas.
📌 Please keep classroom conversations brief so teachers can begin instruction on time.

To ensure our students continue to have exceptional learning experiences throughout the school day, Arlington ISD is moving to a standardized early release cutoff time for all elementary schools. ❤️💙
Moving forward, we will not be able to release students early after 3:00 p.m.

Please check your calendars, review any appointments, and make arrangements now for any days when your student may need to be picked up before the 3:00 p.m. cutoff time.

📚 Set Up for Success: Report Cards 📚
We are always looking for ways to make information easier for families to access! ❤️💙 Starting this school year, student report cards and progress reports for grades 3–12 will no longer be printed and sent home. These documents will be available digitally through Parent Self Serve.
🐦 Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade report cards will continue to be printed and sent home.
Set your school year up for success by making sure you can log in to Parent Self Serve before you need to access important student information.

You would be amazed at how many of these items find their way to our lost and found. While we do our best to help items get back to their owners, it can be tricky when there is no name attached.
One simple way to Set Up for Success this school year is to label your student’s belongings with their first and last name. ✏️
A quick label today can help us return lost items quickly and make sure your student’s things make it back home.
