Material Checkout Information
The AISD Library Services department values parent partnerships and recognizes that parents are the primary decision-makers regarding their child's access to library materials. Parents who wish to communicate preferences regarding their child's access to library materials should contact the librarian at their child's school.
If a parent chooses for their child to opt out of checking out print materials from the school library, they can complete an electronic request form at https://bit.ly/optoutbooks.
After the form is submitted, the campus librarian will contact the parent directly to have them complete and sign a printed form that will be kept on file at the campus. Once the campus librarian receives the printed signed form, a note will be added to the child's account in the library software system.
