Dear Parents and Guardians,

You might have seen or heard about a social media post circulating that alleges an Arlington High staff member had an inappropriate relationship with a student. We want to make it clear that this claim is untrue. Unfortunately, the spread of this misinformation led to unnecessary threats against our staff and school this morning, and the school being placed on shelter.

Arlington High School staff members who were falsely accused or threatened have pressed charges.

We are deeply thankful to our security team, SRO’s and additional support from the Arlington Police Department for their swift response to support our staff and ensure the safety of everyone on campus. I also want to thank parents and staff for standing by us and helping keep our community safe and informed.
