I graduated from UTA in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and ironically taught English Language Arts and Reading for seven and a half years. I obtained my Masters of Education with the focus on Counseling in 2010 from Tarleton State University. 2014-2015 marks my 11th year in education and my 3rd year in school counseling. All of my experience prior to this school year has been spent with 6th through 8th graders; however I am super excited to be a part of the Bowie High School family and look forward to helping students achieve their goals.

My philosophy is “Team work makes the dream work” and with everyone on the team doing their part, our students can be high achievers in all aspects of life!
