Version 1:

The BBC micro:bit version 1 (v1) is a small, programmable computer designed to introduce young people to coding and electronics. It features a variety of built-in components, including: 25 programmable LEDs, two buttons, an accelerometer, a compass, a temperature sensor, and a light sensor. It also has Bluetooth and USB connectivity, allowing for interaction with other devices and computers.

Version 2

The micro:bit V2 is a pocket-sized, programmable computer designed for educational and creative purposes. It features a 5×5 LED matrix, two programmable buttons, a touch-sensitive logo, and various sensors like an accelerometer, compass, and temperature sensor. The V2 also includes a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling audio input and output for more complex projects. It supports wireless communication via Bluetooth and a 2.4GHz radio, allowing for interaction with other devices and remote control.
