Acceptance Information

With the recent winter weather disruptions, notification of acceptance into the elementary and secondary academies has changed.

Elementary

  • Elementary programs will be notified on March 11 at 4:00 pm.
  • Parents have until Wednesday, March 24 at 5:00 pm to accept this invitation.

Secondary

  • Secondary programs will be notified on Tuesday, March 30 at 3:00 pm.
  • Parents have until Tuesday, April 6 at 4:00 pm to accept this invitation.

 Applicants for all programs have also been notified via email of these updated acceptance dates.

Elementary Programs and Academies

Corey Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language

Elementary students learn Spanish, Mandarin, visual arts, music (choral, strings and piano), dance and theater.

Crow Leadership Academy

Experience service-learning opportunities and learn at one of only a handful of International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme candidate schools in the state.

Jones Academy of Fine Arts and Dual Language

Elementary students learn Spanish, Mandarin, visual arts, music (choral, strings and piano), dance and theater.

Pearcy STEM Academy

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are interwoven throughout the elementary curriculum.

Choose between English/Spanish and English/French dual-language programming while also receiving cultural awareness education, an introduction to a third language and summer programming.

Secondary Programs and Academies

ARLINGTON COLLEGE & CAREER HIGH SCHOOL

Earn a high school diploma and an associate degree in applied sciences simultaneously or earn workforce certificates aligning with a career pathway.

ARLINGTON COLLEGIATE HIGH SCHOOL AT TCC-SE

Earn a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously.

Bowie P-TECH

This early college high school program, emphasizing careers in the health science technology field, will give students the opportunity to earn an associate degree and recognized industry certificates at no cost to them or their families.

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Participate in programs such as the AISD Fire and Police Academies, cosmetology, health care rotations, sports and entertainment marketing, culinary arts, and many more. All students will register at their assigned campus during the spring registration period.

STEM ACADEMY
AT MARTIN HIGH SCHOOL

Earn high school and college credits along four pathways - engineering, biology/biomedical science, computer science and math/science.
