Gunn Junior High and Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy
Starting in sixth grade, students from both Corey and Jones Academy continue their path of fine arts and dual language instruction. Additional spots are available for students who didn’t attend Corey or Jones.
Arlington College and Career High School
Students can earn an associate degree for free from TCC and a high school diploma and take advantage of smaller class sizes at our newest early college campus.
Arlington Collegiate High School
Students can earn an associate degree for free and a high school diploma at a campus located next to TCC with access to college facilities and smaller class sizes.
Arlington High School and Fine Arts and Dual Language Academy
Open for ninth graders in 2024-25, students from Gunn Academy can continue their fine arts and dual language path in a dual-language program that provides a full-immersion experience.
Health Sciences: P-TECH at Bowie High School
At P-TECH at Bowie High School, students have an opportunity to earn an associate degree in the field of health sciences plus receive the benefits of an Arlington ISD whole-child education.

How does a student apply for a specialized program?
The first application window has already closed. A second application window for the 2026 - 2027 school year opens Monday, April 20, 2026 and closes on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Are specialized programs open for out-of-district student transfers?
Can students currently enrolled in one specialized program transfer into another specialized program?

When are families contacted about acceptance to a specialized program?
Invitations from the second window will be sent on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, also from the specialized program campus.
Families receive one notification, either an invitation from a specialized program campus or an email explaining other opportunities if a student is not accepted into a specialized program.
How does a student accept an invitation to a specialized program?
An invitation to a specialized program from the second window must be accepted by 5 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2026 to guarantee placement.
Directions for how to accept the invitation are included in the invitation sent by the specialized program campus.
