I NEED MEDICAL LEAVE; WHAT DO I DO FIRST?

Arlington ISD offers medical leave to employees who need to take more than three days away from work due to a serious health condition as defined by the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Please note that while district-provided medical leave offers job protection, it is unpaid. Employees are required to use their own leave accruals while on medical leave.

• The first step is to complete the online Medical Leave Request Form. Please ensure that you do not submit the form more than 30 days prior to the start date of your leave.
