Eric Upchurch has spent his career in Information Technology within public sector industries spanning Healthcare to Municipal Government. In April 2020, Eric was named Assistant Superintendent of Technology for Arlington ISD.
Prior to this appointment, Eric was a Sr. Manager within the City of Fort Worth IT Solutions Infrastructure Engineering department responsible for strategic management of the Data Center facilities, the Network Operations Center team, The IT Service Desk operation, and IT Change Management.
Eric has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Information Science from the University of North Texas where he served as Teaching Fellow for the College of lnformation, Information Science Graduate department from 2015-2017.
Mcdeny Alcantara is a technology professional with more than 17 years of combined experience in Information Technology and Management supporting the education sector.
Mcdeny earned a Bachelor in Computer Science in 2003. He started his professional career working as Electronic System Programmer at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Science Campus.
In August 2021, Mcdeny was named Sr. Director of District Support and Customer Service for Arlington ISD. Prior to joining AISD he served Fort Worth ISD for 12 years in different roles functioning as IT Customer Service Manager, Network Services Executive Director and last as Sr. Technology Officer.
Mcdeny is driven by purpose and his goal is to make IT services a constructive experience. He enjoys work, quality relationships and nature.
John Atchison has spent his 25+ year career in Information Technology within the Texas K-12 public education system. In June 2018, John was named Director of Infrastructure and Operations for Arlington ISD. Since coming to Arlington ISD, has overseen projects to improve network and wireless infrastructure, safety and security systems, server platform architecture, and Cybersecurity.
Prior to this appointment, John was the Chief Technology Officer for Boerne Independent School District where he oversaw all IT operations for the district. John holds numerous industry certifications and is pursuing a Bachelor degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Texas in San Antonio.

Frank Sack is a communication technology professional with 13 years of experience working in creative and education industries.
Since coming to Arlington ISD in 2016, he has overseen numerous projects to improve the administration of web servers, systems, and users. This has led to an increase in the security, availability, and delivery of the district’s information assets for internal and external stakeholders.
Frank seeks to deliver innovating and engaging experiences online to all persons while maintaining high degrees of operational excellence.
