Board calls for bond election on May 2
Arlington ISD's Board of Trustees has called for a bond election on May 2 following the recommendation of the community-led Capital Needs Steering Committee. A few of the proposed projects include:
- Replacement of South Davis Elementary
- Replacement of an additional elementary campus
- Modernization and renovations to schools
- Facility for districtwide 18 PLUSS Special Education program
- Safety and security upgrades
- 45 new school buses
- Replacement of Instructional student technology devices
- Synthetic turf at 6 high school fields (baseball/softball)
- And more …

Youth Art Month Show
In observance of Youth Art Month, we've partnered with the Arlington Museum of Art to display student art. See over 570 student masterpieces from all grades levels across the district.
The 36th-annual show opens Wednesday, March 4, and runs through April 5 at the Arlington Museum of Art.

Pre-K Signing Day is April 1
There’s no bigger deal than starting pre-K! That’s why Arlington ISD is hosting its fourth annual Pre-K Signing Day on April 1 at your child’s soon-to-be school. Just like high school athletes declare their college choice and sign a letter of intent, the new little learners will get to sign a certificate declaring their status as a rising pre-K student! Parents will get a fun photo of their child declaring their intent to learn and grow.
Registration for Arlington ISD’s Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 also opens online on April 1. Click below to learn more.
College & Career Expo is March 31
Does your high schooler know what they’re going to do after they graduate? Bring your students to the annual College & Career Expo for an evening of future possibilities. Explore college, military, and career pathways all in one place on Tuesday, March 31, from 5:30 - 8 p.m., at the Dan Dipert Career + Technical Center.

Free Summer Camp Opportunity
Drones, robots, and coding! Camp Innovation will be back this summer for its seventh year, and registration is now open! The camp is a FREE week-long summer camp in June at the Arlington ISD Dan Dipert Career + Technical Center that gives students currently in fourth through ninth grades the opportunity to use technology in a variety of fun, creative, and educational ways. Don’t wait to sign up because it will fill up.
Gun Safety Storage
A new state law requires school districts to distribute information regarding safe firearm storage to parents. It’s so important to make sure any guns you may own are safely stored. Practicing safe gun storage protects our kids, prevents accidents, and keeps guns out of the hands of criminals. Click below for tips on safely storing guns.
