The student is introduced to basic acting skills such as improvisation, characterization and stage movement. Play structure and play production are covered.
The student will dive deeper into various acting styles and production techniques. Students will be introduced to technical theatre design, make-up, costuming and public performance.
This full year class is intended for students who have a serious interest in studying theatre. The goal for the course is to provide students a variety of performance and production experiences from acting to design. This involves learning lines, following directions, and working with a group.
