This course will offer an in-depth exploration of the history of art from ancient times to the present. Through reading, research, slides, videos, and museum visits, students will view significant artworks from around the world. Students will develop writing skills in the description, analysis, and comparison of these artworks. After completing this course, students are encouraged to take the Advanced Placement Art History exam given by the College Board.
