Expressive singing, vocal tone, sight reading, song interpretation and dramatization are explored. Ensembles are formed based on students’ performance abilities. Concert and contest performances are part of the curriculum. Choirs perform in programs and may compete in contests, such as UIL Concert and Sightreading, during the year. Students may be required to attend rehearsals or performances outside of regular school hours.
