Concert Orchestra at the eighth grade level will include a study of string techniques leading to the performance of more advanced literature. This is an advancing level orchestra consisting mostly of eighth graders and some advanced seventh graders. Much attention will be given to solo and ensemble playing to improve individual skill. Students in the Concert Orchestra may be required to attend rehearsals outside the school day and are required to attend all performance events.
