This course integrates the teaching of English 7 ( LA7200) and Reading 7 (LA7210) for campuses not offering separate courses. This course integrates the study of writing and reading skills. Students will develop more complex reading skills by analyzing a variety of text genres and forms of media while simultaneously enhancing their proficiency using writing skills (e.g., oral and written conventions, the writing process, implementation of genre characteristics) to create compositions and responses of their own.
