This class will focus on the repair and restoration of woodwind and brass instruments. Based on curriculum developed by Music and Arts, students will have the opportunity to repair instruments belonging to Arlington ISD in a very hands-on approach with some of the finest equipment and with unique tools to the repair instrument industry. They will learn the unique properties of wind instruments as well as common repair techniques including: dent removal, re-padding, cleaning and polishing, just to name a few. This course will count as an elective; there will be no Fine Arts credit awarded.
