This modified course is designed to provide targeted instruction in essential math concepts while reinforcing foundational skills. The primary focal points at Grade 8 are proportionality; expressions, equations, relationships, and foundations of functions; and measurement and data. An emphasis is placed on visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-life applications. Access to this course is determined by the ARD committee and is based on a student’s IEP.
