Practicum in Marketing

In this course students will have opportunities for first-hand experience in the area of marketing through experiences both in the classroom and in local businesses. These experiences may consist of observations, shadowing, and hands-on activities for two periods per day and will demonstrate the importance of a knowledge of economics, technology, marketing concepts and strategies in the business world. Students who wish to take this course must have their own transportation to travel to their practicum site(s). This is a capstone course for students that are completing a coherent sequence of courses within their career pathway.
