Students will investigate careers in the human services career cluster, including counseling and mental health, early childhood development, family and community, and personal care services. A variety of activities will include explaining the impact of nutrition and preparing nutritious snacks or meals, investigating causes and prevention of child abuse,
demonstrating simple clothing repair and alteration techniques, and investigating specific state requirements for licensure in personal care services such as cosmetology or child care.
