This modified science course is interdisciplinary in nature; however, much of the content focus is on Earth and space science. Topics include; matter and energy; force, motion, and energy; Earth and space and: organisms and environments. The student, for at least 40% of the instructional time, conducts laboratory and field investigations following safety procedures and environmentally appropriate and ethical practices.

Access to this course is determined by the ARD Committee and is base on a student’s IEP.
