The Care Clinic provides wellness support for Arlington ISD students empowering individuals to grow and learn from a counseling experience. The goal is to utilize the counseling process to encourage healthy habits and attain improved physical and mental health outcomes. Services are provided in an environment that is both safe and confidential, that facilitate personal development and maximize student success by providing responsive and effective support, in alleviation, remediation and prevention of maladaptive behaviors. Students in grades PreK-12 can receive 5 FREE 45-minute brief counseling sessions with a licensed therapist. See your campus counselor for a referral.

Arlington ISD Family & Community Engagement Department (FCE) offers programs and services to engage, educate, and empower families to partner in their child's education. From birth to graduation, FCE provides workshops to support caregivers in raising happy children, collaborating with teachers, or connecting with other caregivers and the community. The Arlington Police Department's Victim Services Unit exists to provide services to victims and family members with the goal of lessening the short and long-term trauma experienced as a direct result of victimization.

The Victim Services Unit provides crisis counseling, crisis intervention, criminal justice support and advocacy, information and referral, notification of rights and assistance with filing Crime Victims Compensation claims, assistance with property return, court accompaniment, childcare during statements, and transportation to court or to shelter to all victims of violent crime reported to the Arlington Police Department.

Revenue from donations and thrift store sales directly funds these community programs, creating opportunities for education, career exploration, and long-term success.

Grant Halliburton Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit that specializes in mental health education and suicide prevention. We offer educational presentations on the ins and outs of mental health and have a mental health navigation line where we do all the work of connecting people with mental health and addiction resources.

Mansfield-Arlington Play Therapy Training Center offers continuing education for professionals, clinical supervision, students and teachers focused on children's mental health and parent and community support.

Mesa Springs Hospital: Newly constructed 72-bed behavioral health hospital offering inpatient and outpatient programming. We provide evidence-based, transformational care for a broad range of mental health and addiction concerns in a compassionate, comfortable environment. The Mesa Springs multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, therapists, and clinicians work together to accurately diagnose mental health conditions and provide a customized plan of care to individuals. Open 24-7 for walk-in, no-cost assessments for ages 12+.

Innovations: Provides both a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for children in elementary, middle, and high school. Four hours of group therapy per day, family therapy for education and support, dual diagnosis groups, medication management, and transportation is included in programming. Innovations offers academic instruction for grades K-8, as well as an accredited high school program. Ages 8-18 (18, if still enrolled in high school). Open during normal business hours for scheduled, no cost assessments.

My Health My Resources of Tarrant County (MHMR) provides community-based services for youth and adults with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and substance use disorders, as well as babies and young children with developmental delays. MHMR uses a person-centered care approach and partners with community organizations to provide services and a hopeful future. MHMR is a unit of local government with a Board of Trustees appointed by Tarrant County Commissioners Court.

Perimeter Behavioral Hospital of Arlington is an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital in Arlington, Texas treating children (5-12), adolescents (13-17) and adults starting at age 18. Our uniquely designed therapeutic framework gives us the ability to treat the individualized needs of our patients. Play it Safe! is an evidence-based, child abuse prevention and personal safety program that teaches students how to recognize, respond to , and report physical and sexual abuse in a developmentally appropriate way. It also provides education to students in middle and high school grades regarding sexual harrassment, cyberbullying, sexting, dating violence, and sexual assault. All of the grade-specific lessons are scripted, provided to students one classroom at a time, and include a video. Materials are made available to parents/caregivers 2 weeks ahead of any scheduled presentation date.

Radish Counseling is a small, holistic counseling practice located in North Arlington offering services for individuals of all ages, starting at age 3 all the way through end of life. Our services include child and adolescent counseling including play therapy, individual therapy including perinatal mental health, trauma therapy and EMDR, relationship and couples therapy, and group therapy.

Free bilingual counseling and skills classes for youth ages 6 - 17 and their families

Recovery Resource Council (the Council) has been a cornerstone of North Texas since 1946, evolving from a small committee focused on alcoholism education to one of the region’s largest nonprofit mental and behavioral healthcare providers. We have expanded our services to include substance use disorder treatment, mental health services, and support for veterans and the chronically homeless.

Starfish Counseling is a group private practice in North Arlington. We provide individual and family therapy to clients starting as young as 3 years old and up through the life span. We are a pro-insurance practice and accept all commercial insurance, Tricare and Medicaid. Our therapists are trauma trained in EMDR and TF-CBT. We use expressive arts, sandtray and play therapy in our work with students and families. We provide both in-person and telehealth services. We also have student interns who can provide low-cost to free services as well.

The SAR Center provides accommodations for students with disabilities in academics, testing, and housing/dining services. Our Accessibility Specialists also help connect students to other campus resources that assist with academic support, personal health and wellbeing, as well as career development.

This program identifies and assists individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education. The program provides academic, career, and financial counseling to its participants and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to the postsecondary institution of their choice. Talent Search also serves high school dropouts by encouraging them to reenter the education system and complete their education. The goal of Talent Search is to increase the number of youths from disadvantaged backgrounds who complete high school and enroll in postsecondary education institutions of their choice. We provide tutoring services, career exploration, aptitude assessments, counseling, mentoring programs, workshops, and information on postsecondary institutions.
