The District Attendance Office works with students who have been referred for having unexcused absences (truancy) on their attendance record. In an effort to maintain optimum district student attendance, the District Attendance Officers investigate truancy and other possible attendance violations and communicates with students and parents to determine if they are in compliance with the state’s compulsory attendance law.
