Each session listed in this guide has a suggested target audience. The three target audience levels are:

  1. All Audiences - a session that will likely benefit all levels of learners
  2. Paint by Numbers - a session well-suited for fairly ‘new to Canvas’ learners
  3. Joy of Painting - a session likely to push a seasoned-Canvas to unexplored possibilities & functions

Designing course materials in an accessible way is the first step to having a truly inclusive classroom for your students and for their parents. S12: Increasing Engagement via Digital Lock Boxes

Audience: Joy of Painting

Credit Hours: 1.5 hours

Session Description: Your students need something new and challenging! Fun and adventurous! Gamified and engaging! They need digital lock boxes! The participants will use Canvas and online applications, such as H5P, Educaplay, ProProf Brain Games, and Cypher Wheel, to build a set of puzzles for students to solve. Once all puzzles are solved, the digital "box" will open! These are perfect for lessons and extension activities!
