Student Behavioral Support Systems

The Student Behavioral Support Systems Department (SBSS) is responsible for coordinating and publishing the Student Code of Conduct (SCOC).  The department coordinates student disciplinary concerns and provide services to campus administration regarding appropriate student behavior and discipline.

The department oversees:  

  • District’s Alternative Education Program Placements (DAEP), an alternative education program for students who violate the district's SCOC or certain other offenses, include some felony offenses.
  • Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program Placements (JJAEP), an alternative education program for students who have been expelled from school for more severe offenses, include the more severe felony offenses.
