Arlington ISD has made the decision to keep schools and offices closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, due to continued icy conditions on roadways and at campuses across the district. We are grateful to our maintenance teams that have inspected all campuses to help us come to this decision.
Remaining closed on Wednesday is to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families. This closure includes all before and afterschool activities. We are planning for campuses and offices to open on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Decisions about potential make-up days will be communicated at a later date.
