Celebrate your Little Learner’s Milestone

There’s no bigger deal than starting pre-K! That’s why Arlington ISD is hosting its fourth Pre-K Signing Day on Wednesday, April 1, from 5-7 p.m., at your child’s school. Your child is starting a new, exciting chapter in their lives, so come out next week for a chance to celebrate this momentous milestone and get your child registered.

Arlington ISD's Pre-K Signing Day is April 1“This special event is a wonderful opportunity for families to begin the pre-K 2026-2027 registration process, get their questions answered, visit a pre-K classroom, meet a pre-K teacher, connect with campus leaders, share important information with the school nurse, and learn more about the pre-K curriculum, Arlington ISD’s Early Childhood program, and your unique campus culture,” said Dr. Elena Guerrero, Arlington ISD’s director of curriculum and instruction for early childhood through second grade.

It’s going to be a lot of fun. Just like high school athletes declare their college choice and sign a letter of intent, your child will get to sign a certificate declaring their status as a rising pre-K student. You’ll get a fun photo of your child declaring their intent to learn and grow!

Not sure what school your child is going to attend? Visit the school locator here.

Signing Day will also be a great opportunity for your family to walk the school building for the first time and visit the pre-K classrooms.

Come meet pre-K teachers and school staff, and get a sneak peek at how our incredible teachers blend fun with world-class learning opportunities. Plus, you can get help and support with completing the registration for your child, so bring registration documents with you.*

Registration for pre-K opens online on Wednesday, April 1. Learn more about Arlington ISD’s best-in-class pre-K here, and read about why pre-K is so important for little learners here.
